we are the ever-living ghost of what once was.

today was a good day. i got paid! i colored my hair. i had a talk with my professor about the implications of globalization, teaching english and a value-creating educational pedagogy. ( nerdy, i know)

i was invited to attend a peace symposium tomorrow morning. i am very interested in what will be discussed. the man who is speaking wrote a book about one of my (new) heroes, daisaku ikeda. (who is discussed with the likes of martin luther king jr. and gandhi)

i also booked my flight for my trip to new york with one of my best friends. i'm excited!
