so much has been going on, i think its necessary to share in list form.
1. i am officially moving to a new and much bigger apartment. one of my friends is moving in with my current room mate and i- this is going to be good for multiple reasons. the best part about the whole thing is that i will be paying $300 less each month. living is expensive.
2. i went to visit my mom last weekend. she has undergone one of four chemo treatments. i thought it was going to be really hard to see her, but it was better than expected. she has not lost her hair yet, but has gone ahead and shaved it. it was shocking and weird to see my mom (of all people) with a shaved head. shes doing really well through all of this. it just sucks that she has to go through it at all. i don't exactly know how to deal with it, or how to be comforting (for lack of a better word). i just really hope that after all this, the cancer will be gone.
3. i have started training to run a full marathon in october. i have not yet paid for it because i'm really scared that i wont be able to do it. 26.2 miles is no joke... maybe it would be better if i had a friend here to train with... october just seems like so soon...
4. a 5 week summer session seems ridiculous for grad school. i have 2 more weeks and so much due... but i'm not complaining, really. i love what i'm studying. i have become so nerdy, it doesn't even make sense. honestly, thank god i finally found something i like...seriously.
5. confession: i watch the second twilight film... and i liked it. yes, i am going to see the third. this does mean that i have changed my mind about the first movie- i still think it was degrassi with vampires.
