well, of course you did.

i have some exciting news... i got all a's my first quarter of grad school. i was a little worried about one class because the final paper i turned in was a little bad... but i guess my professor thought otherwise.
i have been home for a little over a week now... it is so awesome to pay for nothing. it has also been nice to hang around people that i can talk to. i haven't found a solid group of friends with similar interests and beliefs in chicago, which has made enjoying living there difficult. tonight, i helped some friends decorate for christmas... i cant explain to you how being around people like me (interest wise especially) has done to me... i actually feel happy... (not that i'm super bummed in chicago, it just helps to have friends).
on a more pleasant note... i will leave you with a fun list to help better understand me (at the moment, of course)...
things i'm into:
- all things peppermint
-not spending money
- aveda products
- baking desserts
- trying to understand what living in the late 1940s would have been like
- not making up things in my mind
- running (as always)
- no bangs
- hanging out with people my age
- not wearing a coat
- using "ish" whenever possible
- vanilla yogurt & apple cinnamon granola
- not being asked when i'm getting married or why i don't have a boyfriend
- writing a poem (that people can understand)
