isn't that how it goes, when you're lovesick? thinking about everything.

i apologize for not doing a better job of posting in a timely manor my goings on....

i recently (and by this i mean yesterday) returned from a visit to california for a long(ish) weekend. i got to visit with one of my best friends. it was so nice. i missed him. not only was the company a nice change, but i realized that i don't hate l.a.- in fact, i like it... well, i don't know how much i liked downtown, but i did like his neighborhood and of course the beach area, etc. on the last night i was there, we went to see the band mew.... ah-mazing... if you are reading this and think i meant to type muse... i didn't... clearly, you need to listen to mew as soon as possible [i have posted a video from a concert... which just so happens to be my favorite song (on their newest album)]

i baked cookies today. they look ugly, but taste so good. i will post pictures tomorrow. the cookies were supposed to look like peppermints...
